The Boiler Service Planning Administrator will be responsible for planning the daily work of our service engineers. The role also includes communicating with our customers, either by taking bookings by telephone or contacting customers to discuss or arrange service visits. The Boiler Service Administrator will be responsible for delivering high levels of customer service to new and existing customers and delivering an efficient customer support service. The Role – principal duties Reporting to the Boiler Service Team Manager. Plan and book engineers’ daily appointments with our customers and engineers. Add the appointments and information to the company system and engineer planning system. Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their service requirements and queries. Ensure engineers bookings are routed efficiently to maximise productivity and reduce operational costs. Assist the engineers with ordering parts. Keep the Boiler Service Activities up to date on the system. Carry out general office administration duties. Work to objectives set by the team manager. To be available to cover Saturday morning cover by rota from 1st November to 30th March. To actively cross sell the Company’s services and products wherever and whenever possible. To keep Company documentation up to date, accurately filled in and stored in accordance with GDPR. The Individual Employees should be flexible in their approach. Ability to communicate well, orally and in written form, with both colleagues and our customers is essential. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the Company and its’ customers in a professional manner. Strong organisational skills are essential. Strong IT skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite essential. Experience of inputting data quickly and accurately. Attention to detail. Administration experience is essential. Experience within a sales, logistics or supply chain support function is desirable.
