We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced and committed Management Assistant to the Assistant Director of Childrens Services. We are looking for exceptional candidates who are passionate about improving the lives of children, young people and their families at this critical time, here in Solihull. As Management Assistant you will support the Assistant Director of Children’s Services in the first instance, with Management, project, and personal assistant support to Assistant Director and members of the Corporate Leadership Team. You will be responsible for the management of a professional, effective, and efficient secretariat service for the Childrens Services & Skills Directorate Leadership Team. You will have experience of working as a Personal Assistant (or similar) and have supported senior level colleagues. You will be extremely well-organised, be one step ahead, flexible, personable and have the ability to prioritise multiple tasks. You will also need to demonstrate: Experience of liaising and dealing with senior stakeholders GCSE A- C English Language and Maths (or equivalent), or the ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of numeracy and literacy through office experience This post will be based at Solihull Council House. You must be comfortable with hybrid working practices as these are now in place across the business, with a combination of home working, virtual meetings and attendance at the Council’s other offices within the Solihull Borough.
