We are currently advertising for 3 highly motivated Consultant Gynaecologists to join our St Mary's Managed Clinical Services team who can help support in the future developments of our services (previous experience at consultant level is desirable but not essential) with great care having been undertaken to ensure that there is appropriate access to professional development opportunities.
All 3 posts offer the successful applicants the opportunity to enhance their skills further by undertaking practises in Benign, Colposcopy and Emergency Gynaecology across all 5 areas of the St Mary's Hospital Managed Clinical Services.
Successful applicants will join the Gynaecology on call rota which provides care at Oxford Road Campus, North Manchester General Hospital and Wythenshawe sites along with delivering elective outpatient/inpatient and Emergency care for our patients.

Given recent developments and the exciting new role out of the Da Vinci Robotic system within Gynaecology, robotic surgery here at St Mary's Hospital is soon to become embedded. Along with further exciting developments such as dedicated elective operating at the Trafford Elective Hub and the implementation of the Tier 2 service, there isn't a better time to consider joining the team!
A representative job plan to follow, subject to confirmation of weekly timetables. St Mary's Managed Clinical Services Gynaecology Consultant job plans run on a 4-week cycle. All job plans will be 10 programmed activities (PAs) initially, including 1.5 essential supporting PAs. Successful applicants will also be encouraged to contribute to additional roles within the service (e.g., educational supervisor, lead roles, governance responsibilities), based on appointment within the Division.
