Permanent Occupational Therapist
Your World is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 or 6 OT for work on a permanent basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known Private Mental Health Hospital in Southampton.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated Therapy team at a private Hospital in Southampton. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions, working with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will be integral in supporting patients on their recovery journey, enabling them to achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group therapy interventions tailored to the needs of patients. Develop and deliver personalised treatment plans that promote independence and well-being. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and support staff. Contribute to discharge planning, ensuring continuity of care and effective transition back to the community. Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them understand and manage their conditions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* Full OT qualifications
* HCPC registration
* UK Occupational Therapy experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication
