We are looking for a permanent Band 6 Dysphagia and Complex Needs Speech & Language Therapist to join our Community Children's Therapy Team in West Essex, covering Uttlesford, Harlow and Epping Forest. You will work closely within the wider Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service including the Community Nursing Team, the Healthy Family Team, Paediatric Community Dietitian Service, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Services and Community Paediatricians as well as external colleagues and partners in Health, Education and Social Care. The Ideal Candidate You will have a degree qualification or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy and post qualification training and experience in dysphagia and complex needs. You will also be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy. You will have access to regular clinical supervision and ongoing continued professional development including through access to external clinical networks. You will be a part of team who recognises and celebrates clinical excellence steered by evidence-based practice. As this is a community role, it is essential that you hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for work purposes.
