We are looking for aMaintenance Engineer- Electrical for a 12 month contract based in Ansty on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planets vital power needs. As a a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for: You will perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks across a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment across a plant, site or business, to ensure that manufacturing equipment is safe, available and capable for use when required. Your responsibilities will also include: Utilise precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance. Read and interpret machinery and component drawings, and parts catalogues to enable maintenance and diagnostics. Analyse equipment data to inform and implement the most effective approach towards maintenance. Collect, organise, and analyse data in support of Key Performance Indicators for the Manufacturing Services Department. Identify and recommend improvements to production equipment and maintenance procedures. Research and implement improvements. What we require from the candidate: Advanced level engineering apprenticeship and NVQ/SVQ level 3 or equivalent. Basic understanding of Mechanical, hydraulic pneumatics principles and operation. Preferably experience from a Machine tool background.
