We are looking for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join a fast-expanding engineering company based in Andover. As a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager, you will focus on driving sales and growing the condition monitoring product range. This role involves being a full 360 Sales Manager/Business Development Manager, helping to drive product success across multiple sectors, with travel around the territory required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining a CRM database.
2. Set and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
3. Manage the entire sales life cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
4. Coordinate and oversee all sales activities in the region, defining strategy with the Group Sales & Marketing Director.
5. Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
6. Occasionally support sales efforts in other regions as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Sales-Driven: A proactive mindset, motivated by achieving targets and excelling in cold calling, client meetings, and business pitches.
2. Industry Knowledge: Proven experience selling similar products or services; background in sales & marketing within the distribution, manufacturing, or related services sectors is advantageous.
3. Must hold a full UK driver's license and be able to travel as required.
4. Must be able to work within the Andover office when not on client visits.
