Title: Project Lead Engineer We are looking for a seasoned Project Lead Engineer who will play a key role supporting the technical assurance activities associated with design and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven history of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. You will provide engineering support to the project to develop work scopes, develop/manage requirements and perform assurance activities overseeing consultant / contractor design and site implementation. Some of your responsibilities will be: - Leading multi-discipline engineering team. - Identifying project functional requirements and stakeholder requirements. - Elicitation and development of user/system requirements. - Developing work scopes. - Carrying out technical assessment/approval of contractors work instruction/method statements/risk assessments. - Providing technical supervision of construction/deconstruction activities to ensure compliance with design intent. You will be interfacing with: - Framework contractors. - Consultant design team. - Site stakeholders. - Original equipment manufacturers. - Client project management, commercial, cost, project controls, risk. What We Need You will have experience in project engineering of work packages, including site implementation/ integration, within a highly regulated environment. You will be able to produce technical documentation e.g. technical reports, specifications and technical queries etc. and be compliant with the relevant legislation and standards. Experience with Nuclear safety case is desirable. Qualifications Degree level in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline. Chartered Engineer status or able to attain chartered status (demonstration of continued professional development). Security Requirements You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance. Location This position is hybrid with time spent in Glasgow at the Client's office and onsite in the Helensburgh area for up to 3 days per week. Your own transport is essential.
