Key Responsibilities
1. Lead environmental management initiatives, including training staff and managing compliance with environmental plans.
2. Coordinate with technical specialists to support environmental license applications and project needs.
3. Maintain and manage environmental consents, ensuring timely application and compliance.
4. Conduct regular inspections and audits of design and construction activities.
5. Oversee environmental decision-making and communication, ensuring clarity and understanding across project teams.
What We're Looking For
1. Comprehensive knowledge of on-site environmental issues, including pollution control, ecology, noise, air quality, and waste management.
2. Professional membership (e.g., MIEMA) and a CSCS card are preferred.
3. Solid experience in site-based roles on major construction projects.
4. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and contractual requirements.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
