About the role
A caregiver at Visiting Angels North Shropshire requires to be a compassionate and friendly person who has very strong communication skills. The successful candidate’s duties will include:
1. Personal care, helping them to get up in the morning or prepare for bed in the evening, including a shower or bath.
2. Assist them with dressing/undressing.
3. Assisting with incontinent tasks.
4. Preparing fresh meals and snacks.
5. Helping with laundry or light housework.
6. Supporting our clients to access the community for appointments, community groups and outings.
7. Prompting & administering medication.
8. Companionship and socialising.
9. Pet care if needed.
10. To be an outstanding team player.
