Description
1. Lead all field service and maintenance requirements for a fabrication and welding manufacturing company based in Preston.
2. Manage the field service team who support the manufacturing function.
3. Oversee daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment.
4. Overall management of the back office administration team.
5. Manage administration tasks.
6. Supervise and support administrative staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
7. Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding, performance appraisals, and reviews for your team.
8. Utilise and manage the back office admin systems used.
9. Ensure effective phone etiquette is maintained when handling calls from clients and suppliers.
10. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity in tasks and responsibilities.
11. Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
12. Provide support to the National Technical Manager in the overall management of the Service Department.
Profile
1. Proven experience as a Service Manager / Office Manager or in a similar manufacturing / engineering / administrative role.
2. Experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment as a service manager.
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
4. Excellent administration skills with attention to detail.
5. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions within the office environment.
Job Offer
£40,000 to £50,000 plus car / car allowance, bonus and benefits
