Our Safeguarding Effectiveness Team is looking for you to join and provide vital recommendations to support schools and colleges regarding safeguarding practice. As a Safeguarding Advisor & Trainer (Education) you will coordinate the development, delivery and review of safeguarding and child protection policies, procedures and guidance for schools, including academies and independent schools. You will undertake visits to individual settings where concerns arise, and you will undertake audits on safeguarding practice and write an analysis report with recommendations. This role will also support the team lead with management and responses to OFSTED and DFE complaints regarding safeguarding concerns. The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level either in Education, have comprehensive knowledge of legislation and guidance regarding safeguarding applicable to schools and education settings, and experience of being a senior leader in an education setting. You will have the ability to criticize and evaluate research, as well as have the confidence to work constructively with internal and external stakeholders. Why us?
