An exciting permanent opportunity for a Benefits & Payroll Specialist - EMEA within a growing SME in Milton Keynes. You will be responsible for approving payroll submissions and payments and benefits for the EMEA region, covering over 5 countries working with the Outsourced Payroll provider. The successful candidate will partner with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of pay and benefits. This role is pivotal in addressing employee queries related to pensions, benefits, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with the Payroll Provider to manage monthly payroll for over 5 countries.
2. Collect necessary data for payroll and tax processing.
3. Review and approve payroll data processed by the Payroll Provider.
4. Oversee the monthly payment process with providers to ensure accurate processing of salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
5. Serve as the main contact for Payroll, Benefits, Pension and Rewards queries.
6. Handle year-end processes for each country, including preparation of P11D information.
7. Ensure governance of monthly payroll, maintain up-to-date process notes, provide relevant training, and track progress.
Benefits Management
1. Act as the primary contact for benefit brokers, handling queries and renewals.
2. Update Pensions and Benefits information with Providers for starters and leavers.
3. Manage country-specific state pension and insurance on local portals.
4. Conduct the UK annual enrolment benefits process.
5. Administer auto-enrolment for pension schemes.
6. Work with UK Benefits providers on employee communications, lunch 'n' learns, and updates.
Reward Management
1. Collaborate with external compensation providers for salary benchmarking data and annual salary review modelling.
2. Maintain job catalogue and grading information.
Reporting Specialist
1. Produce monthly headcount and attrition reports.
2. Generate reports for Finance.
3. Complete national statistics reporting.
4. Prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, managing the approval and submission of Payroll and managing Benefits from end to end.
2. Experience covering payrolls for several countries across EMEA would be advantageous.
3. Strong understanding of local laws and regulations related to payroll and benefits.
4. Proficiency in HR and payroll systems.
