Role Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Growth Officer is a pivotal executive position responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive growth strategies that integrate our various service offerings. You will be the driving force behind our agency's evolution, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed client expectations by delivering cohesive, data-driven strategies that maximise their performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Execution
* Craft and implement overarching growth strategies that align our services (CRM, Paid Social, Paid Search, SEO and Creative) with client objectives and market trends;
* Develop innovative approaches to drive client revenue growth, differentiate our agency, and create unique value propositions;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of strategies across all digital channels.
Performance Driving & Reporting
* Set, measure, and exceed performance KPIs for client accounts and agency growth
* Analyse performance data across all digital channels to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement;
* Present strategic insights and performance reports to both internal leadership and clients.
Team Leadership and Development
* Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement;
* Align teams towards common goals, ensuring accountability and high-performance standards;
* Identify and nurture talent within the agency to build a strong succession pipeline.
eCommerce Expertise
* Spearhead the development and optimisation of eCommerce strategies for clients, integrating best practices across all digital touchpoints;
* Stay abreast of emerging eCommerce trends and technologies, incorporating them into client strategies where appropriate;
* Develop frameworks for eCommerce success that can be applied across various client industries and scales.
Client Relationship Management
* Act as a strategic partner to key clients, providing high-level guidance and insights;
* Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling agency services based on client needs and market opportunities;
* Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and proactive problem-solving.
Innovation and Market Intelligence
* Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities;
* Drive innovation within the agency, encouraging the exploration and adoption of new technologies and methodologies;
* Develop thought leadership content to position the agency as an industry leader.
What Success Looks Like
Within 6 Months
* Implemented a cohesive strategic framework that integrates all agency services;
* Achieved a significant increase in client retention and satisfaction rates;
* Launched at least two innovative service offerings with a focus on strategic support for clients;
* Established a robust reporting system that demonstrates clear ROI for clients.
Within 18 Months
* Driven substantial growth in agency revenue through both new client acquisition and expanded services for existing clients;
* Positioned the agency as a thought leader in integrated digital marketing strategies;
* Developed and implemented at least three successful case studies showcasing our holistic approach;
* Cultivated a high-performing team culture with improved cross-functional collaboration.
What the Right Person Looks Like
* You have a proven track record in senior leadership roles within digital marketing and eCommerce;
* You possess a deep understanding of various digital marketing channels and how they integrate to drive overall business growth;
* You have experience in developing and implementing successful eCommerce strategies;
* You are highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies;
* You have excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences;
* You are adaptable and thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments;
* You have a passion for innovation and staying ahead of digital marketing trends.
Benefits:
* Salary band for this role is £75,000-£85,000
* 10 days company sick pay allowance, increasing by 3 days per year of tenure.
