This newly created role blends strategic financial leadership with governance responsibilities and offers the opportunity to work closely with the CEO, senior leadership team and Board of Trustees.

What will the Director of Finance and Governance role involve?
Leading the finance function, offering strategic insight and guidance to support long-term goals.
Overseeing all core finance operations – budgeting, forecasting, audit, payroll, and statutory reporting.
Acting as Company Secretary – upholding strong governance and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Supporting and developing a small, capable team while driving financial planning and modelling.
Suitable Candidate for the Director of Finance and Governance vacancy:
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with senior leadership experience – charity sector experience is a bonus, not a must.
Someone who brings both strategic thinking and a hands-on approach.
A clear, confident communicator who can bring financials to life for a range of audiences.
A collaborative, empathetic leader who shares the organisation’s values of integrity, support and ambition – and wants their work to make a real difference.
