Job Description
As Security Manager, you will be managing the on shift security team and maintaining the professional standards expected.
You will also be providing the lead in incident management and a single point of contact for out of hours management enquiries.
Additionally, the organising, co-ordinating, reviewing and updating all of campus SOPs, Assignment Instructions, Site ISO audits, and working closely with the Shift Supervisors to ensure they are relevant and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
1. Review all SOPs ensure they are kept up to date and fit for purpose
2. Management responsibility for security training
3. Manage welfare and disciplinary cases as appropriate as well as conducting investigations
4. Maintain AIs for entire Campus
5. Carry out monthly KPI meetings with Shift Supervisors and ensure adherence to the KPI document
Carryout internal ISO audits to ensure compliance is maintained
6. Provide support to the other Security Manager (Operations)
7. Management of Health & Safety throughout the campus
8. Monitor completion of incident reports in the event of an incident, ensuring quality and timely reporting
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Excellent written and oral communication skills
10. Comfortable and capable in appropriately dealing with senior client personnel in a challenging environment
11. The ability to work well under pressure
12. Excellent decision making capabilities
13. Good organisation skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple requests for information and prioritise accordingly
14. Highly responsive and proactive, with the drive to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
15. Good working knowledge of Microsoft software applications
16. Willingness to assist other team members
17. Experience in similar position
18. Ideally educated to ‘A’ level standard
