AR723 – Area Sales Manager (Forklifts)\n\nLocation: Exeter\n\nSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Commission + Bonus\n\nOverview:\n\nFirst Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Area Sales Manager on behalf of one our clients.\n\nOur client are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as an Area Sales Manager. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this role is instrumental in expanding our market presence in the South East/Midlands region, specifically covering EX, PL, TQ, and TR postcodes. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing our geographical portfolio through the sale of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to both new and existing customers.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nBuild and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers.\nEffectively manage the customer database via the CRM system.\nAchieve and exceed annual sales targets, contributing to increased revenue and company profits across all product ranges.\nIdentify new routes to market through proactive prospecting, networking, and strategic planning aligned with company objectives.\nConduct detailed application site surveys when necessary to better understand customer needs.\nEfficiently handle the ordering and processing of ancillary items, attachments, batteries, etc.\nSkills and Qualifications:\n\nGood IT skills, proficient in the MS Office suite including Excel and Word.\nAbility to work both remotely and as an integral part of a team.\nHigh attention to detail in all aspects of work.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nEnjoy selling and working collaboratively with both external and internal stakeholders.\nPrevious experience in MHE or capital equipment sales is advantageous.\nExcellent interpersonal skills.\nEffective time management and the ability to work under pressure.\nDemonstrated track record of success in previous roles.\nLocation: Exeter\n\nSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Commission + Bonus
