Job Description Share Share Share SEN Teacher Location: Chesterfield Salary: £130 - £230 per Day Start Date: ASAP GSL Education are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to work across our client schools based in Chesterfield. SEN Teacher Responsibilities Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual student needs. Supporting students with a range of special educational needs (SEN). Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff. Encouraging positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment. Deliver lessons to students on a 1:1 basis or small groups upon requirement. Collaborating with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students. Participating in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development. Essential Requirements For An SEN Teacher A QTS/QTLS/PGCE in Education or equivalent qualification. Previous experience of teaching students with special needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students. Commitment to continuous professional development. An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years, with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to have one processed immediately.
