ALP Schools are a growing chain of small independent schools catering for young people with special educational needs. Parkview Academy is Ofsted registered for 50 learners and as such class sizes are small, ranging from one-to-one teaching to classes of up to 10 learners. The school’s vision is to empower success through holistic and individualised learning. To achieve this we work with learners from primary to post-16 and ensure that their needs are met and that each individual is provided a wide range of learning opportunities.
We care for the well-being of our learners and our staff team. As such, all employees are provided with a BUPA Cash Plan scheme, annual well-being initiatives and termly perks. We also provide annual appraisals for all staff and actively encourage a range of CPD to help progress and create career opportunities.
We are excited to have vacancies for people to join our team. Currently we are looking for an ICT Teacher and Technician. We understand that applicants may not be skilled in both areas so we are looking to attract applicants who feel comfortable to do one element whilst being trained in the other.. The post holder will deliver ICT lessons to learners with learning difficulties/disabilities in both individual and small group learning sessions. The post holder will also act as an ICT Technician, supporting the centralised ICT team to maintain hardware and software used by staff and pupils in the school and to provide technical advice on ICT matters as they relate to the school.
