The Opportunity

* Commitment: Full-time Monday - Friday, Term Time Only
* Salary: £600 – £625 per week (based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

As a Play Therapist, you will:
* Deliver tailored one-to-one and small group therapy sessions, empowering children to overcome barriers and grow in confidence.
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create individualised therapy plans.
* Lead staff training on therapeutic approaches and engage families through workshops and regular communication.
* Provide immediate, in-the-moment support to children, fostering a culture of care and emotional safety.
* Contribute to the school’s ethos of inclusion, compassion, and excellence in education.
* Utilise exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect with children, families, and colleagues.
* Maintain a reflective, growth-oriented mindset and a passion for professional development.
* Demonstrate strong resilience and adaptability to support children with complex SEMH needs and challenging behaviors.
* Possess a deep understanding of child development, trauma, and the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).
