DT Teacher required to teach small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 children with additional learning needs. This vibrant and welcoming Special School requires a QTS DT Teacher to teach Design Technology to students with moderate learning needs. As a DT Teacher you will be working closely with the Art & Design Teacher to provide an enriching and engaging education for students. Job Role:
1. Teaching Design & Technology to small classes of students with special educational needs including Autism, MLD, Asperger’s, and communication impairments.
2. Deliver engaging practical lessons, ensuring all Health & Safety guidelines are followed.
3. Utilising Teaching Assistants to support children on a 1-2-1 basis.
4. Creating fun and engaging projects that students can get involved in.
5. Taking part in whole school CPD and training.
