The role: Assist with all shipping, receiving and inventory organisation operations Work under direction of the Warehouse Shift Manager Help to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks Unload, stack, move and place products in designated areas Move and transfer products between various sections of the warehouse as needed Use forklifts, reach trucks, Pump trucks etc to transfer and deliver goods Operate speciality machinery to wind and cut cable Stack racking and stage items for storage and shipment as necessary Fulfil and track outgoing orders Collect, prepare, package and label goods for shipment Double check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders Ensure tools are kept clean and in good working order Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures Always adhere to health and safety rules and regulations Wear protective clothing and equipment as required Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently according to company protocol Work with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks Skills required: Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential Forklift / Reach truck certification desirable Able to perform physically demanding tasks whilst standing Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment Thorough, alert and detail oriented Dependable and responsible Strong work ethic Comfortable working independently Makes safety a priority The successful candidates must have a genuine desire to be a difference maker in a customer-centric organisation operating at an extremely fast-pace.
