Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a compassionate team at a school specializing in supporting young children with a range of Social Emotional Mental Health needs (SEMH). Key Responsibilities:
* Provide bespoke, one-on-one and group support to pupils with additional needs.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to implement personalised learning and support plans for pupils.
* Adapt your approach to support the emotional, social, and academic development of each child.
* Build meaningful relationships rooted in trust, encouragement, and understanding.
* Maintain an awareness of safeguarding procedures and protocols at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN/SEMH.
* A patient, resilient, and adaptive approach to providing individualized support.
* Strong behaviour management skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build connections with young, vulnerable pupils.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to best meet each child’s needs.
* Adaptability and felxibility to support the changing needs of pupils.
* Team Teach or PRICE trained, or willingness to attend training in these areas.
