Job Title: SHE Associate Location: Samlesbury – on-site Salary: £47,683 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Managing your own workload; this will include a number of Site projects spanning across the businesses Supporting the Business SHE reviews, as well as day to day site management, scorecards, statistics, incident logs, presentation packs, associate meetings etc. Providing advice on the production and review of risk assessments Leading on accident/incident analysis and assurance activity, along with a wide variety of related tasks that fall within this diverse role Monitoring of contractor performance in line with their risk assessments and method statements will also form a key element of the role Your skills and experiences: Essential NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health and working towards the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent – level 3 NVQ) Qualifications and/or working experience in the area of Occupational Hygiene or Environmental Management would also be a distinct advantage Excellent communicator at all levels Excellent presentation skills, and experience running meetings Desirable Experience in a SHE role Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The SHE team: As a BAE Systems SHE Associate, you will be responsible for providing competent and professional safety, health and environmental advice and support to our business operations which could typically comprise 300 employees with diverse safety, health and environmental risks to manage.
