Job Description
This post is fixed term until 10/08/2025.
Please note as this post is part time, your salary will be pro rata to hours worked.
The main purpose of this role is to support learners with ASD to achieve their potential by planning and delivering an appropriate curriculum. The staff member will support the learners through providing ASD specific support / interventions, planning effective transitions and having pastoral responsibility for a caseload of pupils.
Minimum Requirements
Applications are invited from suitably qualified GTCS registered teachers. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply. Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application if your salary is over £38,000 per annum, which will be deducted from your first pay.
