Compliance Officer at ITC First
ITC First is a family run awarding organisation and End Point Assessment organisation specialising in qualifications that support outdoor and remote workers. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated compliance officer to join our team. This permanent position is ideally suited to someone with a compliance or audit background.
If successful, you will be a key member of the ITC team and the central point of contact for ITC’s regulators, responsible for ensuring ITC’s policies, procedures and operations remain compliant and overseeing quality assurance activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring ITC’s End Point Assessment (EPA) systems are effective and compliant.

Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Main point of contact for ITC’s external regulators
2. Responding to compliance queries, flagging and reporting compliance issues
3. Interpreting and communicating regulations, guidance and publications from the regulators
4. Production of compliance reports, annually, quarterly and ad-hoc
5. Development of office regulated procedures
6. Responding to requests from external regulators, including audits
7. Producing (or assisting to produce) and reviewing reports for a range of other stakeholders and purposes
8. Develop and oversee ITC’s End Point Assessment (EPA) activities
9. Attend meetings and events organised by regulators and report to the CEO/Policy Review Committee
10. Assist with the maintenance and management of ITC qualifications
11. Chair the ITC Appeals Committee
12. The key point of contact for responding to complaints
13. Contributing member of the ITC Policy Committee
The Compliance Officer will be a person who:
1. Is positive and self-motivated with a can-do approach to problem solving
2. Is able to work as part of a small team
3. Is organised, meticulous and capable of working to deadlines
4. Can use IT systems in a busy organisation
5. Has a flexible approach
6. (Desirable) Educated to at least Level 6 (Degree level)
7. (Desirable) Has professional experience in the education training sectors
Working for ITC First
ITC First is a flexible employer and a summary of ITC’s terms are provided below:
* Full-Time (37.5hrs/week)
* Flexible working hours (flexitime)
* 22 days holiday in addition to public holidays
* Starting Salary £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)
This role reports to the ITC CEO.
