Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood – IT Internship - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
We have a couple of placements within IT including IT Applications and IT Integration Management.
As a student in the IT Applications team, you will have practical involvement in several IT application activities and Agile projects from day one whilst gaining a good insight into how international corporate business functions. You’ll be working closely with our business colleagues ensuring that they receive a high level of support.
What awaits you?
1. You will be involved in supporting a wide range of activities and IT Application processes.
2. Tasks to be undertaken will include incident management, problem management, change management, request management, reporting, business impact analysis, and intranet maintenance.
3. Engaging with team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.
4. Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and use testing tools.
5. Administrating authorisation requests for our global SAP user base.
6. Cost centre order raising and approvals for the local IT team.
7. These tasks are based on the standard ITIL model and agile methodology. This included the utilisation of the following software packages: ITSM Suite, MS Office, MS Power BI, JIRA, Confluence and SAP.
8. As part of the placement, you will learn about Agile methodology and deal with requirements management on a day-to-day basis within a global organisation.

Qualifications and Experience
15. Studying towards an IT-related degree whilst being on track to achieve a 2:1.
16. Good team working skills.
17. Effective communication.
18. Excellent planning and organising skills.
19. Good problem-solving skills.
20. Flexibility and self-motivation.
21. Basic knowledge of SAP, ITIL and Agile methodology is preferable, but not essential.
