Job Introduction BBC Creative is the BBC's in-house creative agency producing multi-media promotional campaigns for all BBC products and services across all platforms. The Photography team within BBC Creative is responsible for promotional imagery for all programming transmitted by the BBC. This role includes being the main point of contact for photography enquires from the business and external press, supporting the team in managing picture enquiries and assisting the team in the delivery of picture campaigns. Main Responsibilities To be the first port of call for any enquiries coming into the BBC Creative, Photography team. Managing, responding to, and filtering to relevant team members, all photography related requests and inquiries from the external press and wider BBC. Communicating with internal stakeholders, members of the press and production companies via email in a prompt and friendly manner. To ensure all forms of generic information going out from the team are accurate and up to date. This includes information on the BBC Pictures website and the Commissioning guidelines website. Managing the collation and allocation workflow of the department's slate, ensuring it remains up to date with TX dates, contacts, and availability of content. Deputising for the Senior Producer at meetings, when required. Ensuring the correct functioning of the BBC Pictures Website for new and existing users, managing access to the website and providing support for internal and external users. Managing the delivery and promotion of images from external production companies for programmes that have not been allocated to the wider Photography team. On a weekly basis, liaising with internal teams to take delivery of additional picture assets that have been created and making them available on the BBC Pictures Website. Assisting the team in the delivery of campaigns (deputising when needed) to manage the commissioning and delivery of photography. Assisting the Traffic/Production Manager in managing the production of Photo Shoots. To be fully aware of all BBC Creative, Photography policies and be capable of explaining them to senior stakeholders, Independent Production Companies and members of the press in an appropriate way. Are you the right candidate Strong communication skills, with proven ability to liaise with stakeholders and external contacts. Interest in / knowledge of promotional photography Excellent attention to detail, with experience of data management Ability to work independently and pro-actively - able to deputise for the Senior Producer as required Good team skills, demonstrating resilience and flexibility A good understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge in order to manage the delivery of photography to the highest standard.
