Your role and responsibilities a typical day in this role will see you organising resident letter-drops in relation to proposed chargepoint design schemes for individual streets, ensuring they are well-coordinated and delivered by the relevant deadlines with support from friendly colleagues in the LEVI team, you will be first point of call for incoming correspondence (letter, email, social media) from residents in relation to chargepoint schemes in their area, escalating sensitive correspondence as required working with our existing LEVI Project Support, you will film and edit videos to help residents understand how to use EV chargepoints and ensure the ‘Plug in Suffolk’ webpages are engaging and up to date in collaboration with the Project Manager, you will work with Suffolk County Council (SCC) communications team to promote the LEVI project to Suffolk’s diverse audiences through social media channels, website, e-news, print, and other communication tools as appropriate using your initiative, you will identify opportunities to attend existing or deliver new resident engagement/drop-in events to reach residents around Suffolk, ensuring a good geographic spread and coverage across a variety of different times of day/days of the week. You will need you’ll bring plenty of experience of engaging with different audiences clearly and concisely across a range of channels and media, helping them understand complex environmental issues and bringing them on board you will be passionate about tackling climate change and sustainability – especially the decarbonisation of transport. This passion will be evident in your communication style and will motivate you to succeed in the role you’ll know when it’s time to escalate something sensitive to a senior member of the team and be respectful and polite in all your dealings with our residents you’ll have experience creating engaging content for different social media platforms along with some technical experience of editing webpages our ideal candidate also has experience filming and editing short, engaging videos for online/social media consumption we are keen to invite diverse backgrounds and fresh perspectives, particularly those that could help us reach groups and communities that do not often engage with County Council initiatives.
