Based from their head office in Stockton on Tees you will work closely with their pre-con and commercial teams to manage the buying function across the business. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure electrical materials, components, and services to meet project requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best terms and ensure timely deliveries. Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability to ensure cost efficiency. Collaborate with project managers and site teams to forecast material needs. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and relevant regulations. Manage inventory levels to optimize project performance and minimize waste. Review supplier performance and resolve any delivery or quality issues. Requirements: Proven experience as a Buyer in the electrical or construction industry. Strong knowledge of electrical components and materials. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
