We are recruiting 2 Foreman at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 Hours (Monday – Friday)
Contract Type: Full Time/ Fixed Term until 31-03-2026
Location: Ty Penallta / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

We pay an attractive salary of £37,938 - £40,476 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Caerphilly Homes are looking to recruit 2 Foreman to oversee the supervision of a team of multi skilled In-house trade staff and sub contractors, to deliver the Planned Asset Maintenance programme to the standards set out in WHQS 2023.
The postholders will programme the workload, organise transport, labour and materials in order to maximise productivity and quality of work and monitor achievements against planned targets. You will also closely monitor productivity, absence, discipline and work quality of the labour force, and take corrective action as required in accordance with the Council's policies
For the role, we ask that you have:
A recognised trade qualification such as Level 2 Basic Craft City & Guilds and/or NVQ level 2 or equivalent Level 2 qualifications on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
A Level 3 management qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example ILM Level 3.
The ability to resolve operational problems and issues using own initiative within guidelines; referring only the most complex issues and situations to senior officers.
A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit sites and supervise teams, visit tenants and attend meetings.
