New House residential home in Beverley provides a permanent home to 8 adults who have learning disabilities and associated needs. Town View Respite Service in Beverley provides respite and emergency short-term overnight care for up to fourteen people who have learning disabilities and associated needs.
We’re looking to recruit Casual Care Workers to join our dynamic team, and this could be you!
The role will involve:
1. Supporting people with all their identified needs to ensure safety and well-being.
2. Recording electronic charts and records.
3. Performing light domestic duties.
4. Working in collaboration with the manager, colleagues, and other professionals to improve the quality of life for those who reside at New House and stay at Town View.
5. Providing activities and promoting people’s independence and well-being.
If you have:
1. Experience working with people in a care setting.
2. An awareness of the needs of people with a learning disability.
3. Hold the care certificate or willingness to complete.
4. Strong customer and communication skills.
