Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Cheshire, Macclesfield Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £100 Per day Job Description: Job Duties: Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities Assist in the implementation of individual education plans Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational activities Help students to develop their academic and social skills Monitor and record student progress Collaborate with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists Required Qualifications: GCSEs in English and Maths Experience working with children or young people Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities Education: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Experience: Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy when working with students Organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively Preferred Qualifications: Higher level qualification in Special Educational Needs First Aid training Working Conditions: Working hours may vary based on school schedules May involve working with students on a one-to-one basis Potential exposure to challenging behaviour in some cases All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
