As an Account Manager (Inside Sales), you’ll have the exciting challenge of managing our growth accounts across UK-East, working with new and existing clients to amplify product usage, uncover new business opportunities, and ensure lasting relationships. What You’ll Be Doing
* Drive Growth & Manage Relationships: Lead our growth accounts and achieve sales and revenue goals by fostering relationships and becoming the trusted advisor for each customer.
* Build & Nurture Your Pipeline: Execute strategic sales tactics and customer calls, combining inbound lead qualification and cold calls to expand and manage your opportunity funnel.
* Deliver Product Insights: Share the latest technical updates with customers, helping them stay ahead with our cutting-edge products and services.
* Convert Leads into Lasting Partnerships: Actively nurture incoming leads and transform opportunities into lasting relationships.
* Collaborate on Sales Campaigns: Partner with our marketing and communications teams to roll out dynamic sales campaigns, while also leveraging your own strategies to capture new business.
* Document & Track Success: Use our CRM (Salesforce) to track, record, and leverage commercial intelligence, ensuring that our team is always on the pulse of customer needs.
What We’re Looking For
* Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Genetics, or Genomics (a PhD is a plus, but not required).
* Industry Experience: Previous inside sales experience, ideally with research or life sciences clients, and familiarity with CRM systems.
* Technical Expertise: Knowledge of DNA sequencing technologies, with experience in population genetics and the life sciences or genomics market as a strong advantage.
* Skills & Attributes:
* Influential Communicator: Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Self-Starter: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, uses initiative, and demonstrates sound judgment and tact.
* Collaborative Mindset: A great team player who’s comfortable working in a distributed team environment.
* Language Skills: Swedish language proficiency is a significant plus.
