What was your biggest challenge selling groundcare / arboricultural machinery last year?
Apart from being held accountable for things you can’t influence. Or having to work to transactional targets, when relationships should come first.
You want somewhere you can deliver, and be recognised for it, building on good foundations – this role has come about through promotion, and a job well done.
You enjoy selling high quality products, known for their simplified design, ease of use and reliability. A brand you and your dealers can get behind.
You focus on the things you can control:
* Developing long-term relationships with your dealers to help them sell more. Budget for 2025 is around £5m
* Account management, training, coaching, sales enablement and being your dealers’ go-to person
* Listening to the market to help the employer make informed decisions
Get these right and sales are the consequence. More than that, you want everyone to win, as they act on your feedback and guidance.
You’ll benefit from taking over an established, successful region, with support from across the business.
Where they treat you like an adult, and key to their strategy.
About you
* Direct experience of managing B2B sales of groundcare or arboricultural machinery through dealer networks. Transferrable experience such as importer / distribution sales in their industry will also be considered.
* While you are a capable sales professional, you work to the long-term, putting relationships first.
* Based from home, you’ll have good access to the West of the UK, able to travel 2-3 days a week. Though you’ll work remotely, they’ll want you to feel part of the team. You manage your diary.
We can consider candidates at different stages in their career, as long as you can meet these points.
