Novaris Search is currently partnered with a distinguished leader in the health supplement market seeking to hire a proactive, self-motivated Category / Product Manager. This is an integral position, responsible for managing current product ranges, as well as identifying opportunities for growth and increasing efficiencies to boost sales & increase margins. This exciting position in a fantastic team offers great visibility, working with the CEO to implement product & supplier strategies, manage cost-of-goods & product lifecycles to drive company growth.
Responsibilities:
* Define and implement category strategies, including supplier selection, pricing, and product life cycle.
* Analyze product performance and wellness market trends to identify gaps & drive profitable growth.
* Manage supplier relationships and lead negotiations.
* Collaborate with marketing & nutrition teams to meet customer needs.
* Fully understand the channels, brands, market size, competition offer, supply dynamics, market shares, growth and trends within the market.
* Conduct the annual and ad hoc negotiations with key suppliers.
* Develop pricing strategies to maximize gross margin.
Required Skills:
* Experience in Category/Product Management or Buying (ideally in Health & Wellness FMCG).
* Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
* Data-driven decision-making with a background in e-commerce / FMCG preferred.
* Ethical, purpose-driven, and continuous improvement mindset.
* Proactive, self-motivated, with excellent time management.
* Customer-focused, adaptable, and a strong communicator
