Position Overview:
We are thrilled to hire our first Social Media & Marketing Manager to lead our social media and marketing initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape a brand presence from the ground up within our company. The role requires a dynamic, creative thinker who is passionate about luxury fashion and the circular economy as a whole, and will take ownership in defining our online voice, cultivating and maintaining a strong social community, and driving marketing efforts. You will work closely with the wider team to align on strategic direction, developing and executing our social media operations, and creating an individual voice to resonate with our audience and elevate the nikkibradford brand and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
* Create social media calendars
* Plan, create, and manage content across social media platforms, with a strong focus on Instagram.
* Engage with the community, responding to messages, comments, and queries to build a loyal and active audience.
* Develop a posting schedule that aligns with peak engagement times and industry trends, regularly tracking performance and engagement.
Content Creation & Strategy:
* Design engaging visuals and write compelling copy to highlight new arrivals, promotional campaigns, and brand values.
* Stay informed of luxury fashion and social media trends to create content that reflects our audience's interests and our unique brand positioning.
* Ensure that content created is aligned with our key audience, with a view to engaging with new audiences while still maintaining our tone of voice
Email Marketing:
* Craft and execute email marketing campaigns that highlight key product collections, promote sustainability, and increase customer loyalty.
* Collaborate with the e-commerce team to develop targeted and personalised emails based on customer segments and buying behaviour.
E-commerce Integration (Shopify):
* Coordinate with the e-commerce team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
* Leverage Shopify to update collections, manage website promotions, and implement landing pages to support marketing campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting:
* Track and report on the performance of social media, email marketing, and e-commerce campaigns, offering insights and recommendations.
* Use data-driven approaches to refine strategies, increase engagement, and optimise ROI across channels.
Requirements:
* 2-5 years of experience in social media and digital marketing, ideally within the fashion, luxury, or e-commerce industries.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
* Proficiency and experience working with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and management tools (Insert management tool/s).
* Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp etc) and e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
* Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Desired Skills:
* Strong creative and strategic skills to generate engaging content that aligns with our luxury brand identity.
* Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to measure success and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and writing skills, with a clear understanding of brand voice.
* A passion for luxury fashion and an appreciation for the circular economy and sustainability.
* Self-motivated and highly organised, able to work independently and thrive in a start-up environment.
