Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans across History and RE, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
* Assess and monitor student progress through regular assignments, tests, and exams.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, discussion, and critical thinking.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to share ideas, resources, and best practices.
* Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic growth and development.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching practices and ensure these are integrated into your lessons.
Experience:
* A degree in History, RE, Education, or a related field is essential.
* Previous teaching experience is desirable but not mandatory; newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire, challenge, and motivate students.
* Familiarity with a variety of teaching methodologies and assessment techniques is an advantage.
