Role : Lecturer in Automotive Engineering
Job Type : Permanent
Pay rate : upto £40, per annum
Hours : Full time

Key responsibilities :
1. The main responsibilities of this role include the delivery and assessment of high-quality learning programmes in light vehicle maintenance and repair, across a range of levels of further education and apprenticeship provision, as well as undertaking a range of programme leadership, tutorial and programme administration duties.
2. This post requires a strong background in light vehicle maintenance and the candidate must have experince in professional / vocational expertise in the Automotive sector.
3. The candidate will have a good understanding of apprenticeship provision and EPA.
Qualifications:
4. The candidate must be qualified to honours degree level (Level 6) or qualified to the industry-recognised standard in a relevant field.
5. Hold a post-16 teaching qualification and English and maths qualifications at level 2 or be willing to achieve these within an agreed time-frame.
6. It is desirable that the candidate has experience of effective programme leadership in FE and Apprenticeships and has experience of successful teaching and assessment practice
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
