Job Title: Superintendent - Municipal Construction Projects
Position Overview:
The Superintendent reports directly to the General Superintendent and works on a peer basis with the Project Manager and other members of the team as deemed necessary. The Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the daily construction activities at a project site and is held accountable for the following Core Competencies:

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and scheduling of Trade/Subcontractors; material/equipment deliveries, and the progress of the Project.
* Ensuring compliance of work with the contract documents, Trade/Subcontractor Scope of Work, project schedules, and specifications.
* Maximizing production, eliminating disruptions, and avoiding downtime.
* Comprehending all scopes of work, and aiding in dispute resolution.
* Tracking field time, equipment, and materials relative to changes in work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience in large commercial construction
* 2+ years experience working with local government construction projects (schools, fire stations, police stations, libraries, etc.)
* Proficient in Project Scheduling, Meetings/Inspections, Documentation, and Safety.
