Youngs are a busy Timber & Builders Merchants operating in Folkestone, Kent.
We are looking for a forklift driver / yard person with some occasional van driving to work alongside our existing team. You will be driving a 3500kg flat bed pick up truck doing deliveries in the local area.
Manual lifting is required.
When you are not van driving, you will be expected to work with the yard / warehouse team under the direction of the Yard Supervisor / Branch Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Load and offload delivery vehicles.
* Maintain a clean vehicle accident record.
* Ensure a clean driving license for the type of vehicle (1 speeding allowed - SP30/SP40).
* Maintain a clean and smart appearance.
Requirements:
* Counterbalance forklift license (essential).
* Clean driving license (required).
* Forklift certificate (required).
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00 and alternate Saturday 08:00 to 13:00.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour.
Expected hours: 45 – 51 per week.
