ROLE SUMMARY:
As part of our strategy to continue to grow and provide our services internationally, we are advertising for a talented and ambitious teacher of English Language and Literature to join our online school.
Location – Based in Dubai/UAE - working remotely from home but can include a hybrid model when requested at times to meet in the region throughout the year.
You will be part of our Universal Timetable, teaching students largely from the Southeast Asia region but also covering students in Middle East and the UK.
Working Hours: Your live teaching will start at 5am GST time and expected to finish at 1.30pm approx GST time. As part of the Universal Timetable on some days you may have a later start and later finish time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
10. Inspire, motivate and provide purposeful subject knowledge for students
11. Put Quality First Teaching at the front and centre of all tasks.
12. Support the self-evaluation of the school’s effectiveness and the development of priorities for improvement
13. Assist in maintaining and developing a high-quality school environment and profile and act as a role model by their professional conduct and disposition
14. Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and any class or group of students
15. Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and wellbeing matters
16. Provide or contribute to assessments, reports and references relating to students in a timely manner
17. Participate in meetings and staff CPD opportunities
18. Communicate with parents and other stakeholders to ensure they feel supported and receive the best possible outcome for students.
19. Undertake any other work as specified by their line manager
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
20. Excellent written and communication skills
21. Knowledge of the correct Safeguarding procedure
22. Ability to work well in teams
23. Able to work effectively in dynamic and changing environments
24. Experience of working in the primary, secondary or college sector
25. Experience of working in state or independent school sector
26. Experience with creating resources and the ability to review and enhance our current course delivery
27. Computer Literate with the ability to teach online using technology applications
28. Knowledge of best ways to engage students in your subject of expertise.
29. The capability to drive best practices and have a reputation for delivering high quality material.
30. keen interest within the online teaching and learning environment, with a passion for the learning and development of students.
31. A flexible, highly energetic approach and the ability to thrive in a business with a fast changing, collaborative, delivery culture.
