Administrative Assistant and PA Secondment (internal applicants only)
Hosted by UCL, the Research on Research Institute (RoRI) was founded in 2019 by an international group of research funders and researchers with a mission to accelerate transformational research on research systems, cultures and decision-making. We have an exciting secondment opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic administrator to support Research on Research Institute (RoRI) with a range of administrative duties, and to provide PA support to the Executive Director.
About the role
Duties will include diary management, arranging meetings, room bookings and minute taking, logistical support with events, handling financial transactions such as expenses, managing general departmental responsibilities such as post, suppliers, couriers, and other administrative support such as assisting with information gathering and collating reports.
About you
The post holder will have proven experience of providing effective PA support in a complex organisation, including the effective management of a complicated diary. Being able to demonstrate computer literacy and familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software to intermediate level in Word, Excel, Email, Outlook, PowerPoint, diary management software, and the internet is essential. Experience of processing invoices and expenses using online systems such as UCL’s Financial Information System (MyFinance) and consistency in meeting tight individual and group deadlines are also required.
