Children s Services Education, Skills & Early Years Lifelong Learning Service Ref: 000190 Contract: Fixed Term until 31st July 2025 Salary: Part-time tutor rates of pay 22.32 - 28.47 per hour - Non-vocational Courses 25.84 - 31.82 per hour - Vocational Courses Hours: Ad-hoc Based: Various Lifelong Learning centres Closing Date: Sunday 17th November 2024 Interview Dates: Monday 2nd / Tuesday 3rd December 2024 Role Overview: To deliver Family ESOL classes within the community following the quality standards of the service. Delivery will include a range of non-accredited Family ESOL courses in a community setting. Key Responsibilities: To create and deliver courses to engage learners and develop their English skills. To prepare relevant lesson plans and resources for the courses. Provide individual/group feedback to support learning ensuring that individual learner needs are met, and progress is monitored and recorded. To complete all appropriate administrative tasks, including completion of registers, learner agreement forms, risk assessments and any other relevant records. Key Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum: Relevant subject qualification and or occupational competence at level 3 or equivalent Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to achieve minimum qualification within 12 months Excellent organisational skills to deliver teaching and learning online and face to face within the Post 19 sector with practitioner experience in the curriculum area relevant to the post.
