This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have recently completed their training and are looking to develop their skills in a supportive school environment. Role Overview: As a Business Studies Teacher, you will introduce students to the dynamic world of business, covering topics such as entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and economics. You will help students develop analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of real-world business applications. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive Business Studies lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. Inspire students to explore different aspects of business, economics, and enterprise. Encourage critical thinking and independent learning through case studies and project-based activities. Prepare students for GCSE Business Studies examinations, ensuring they meet key learning objectives. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support development. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Business Studies curriculum. Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom. Mandatory Requirements for the Business Studies Teacher: The successful candidate must hold a PGCE in Business Studies (or a related subject) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent certification. Be able to provide a ten-year career history with relevant reference details covering the last two years, including your most recent place of academic employment. A strong understanding of the Business Studies curriculum at secondary level. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
