About The Role
We're seeking an Account Lead with agency experience to join our growing team at Big Cookie. This role begins as a freelance position with a clear path to permanent employment as we scale. It sits at the intersection of artist campaigns and fan communities, making it perfect for someone with a strong agency background who's passionate about music and ready to transition into the industry. You'll leverage your client service and project management experience to deliver innovative direct-to-fan campaigns that create lasting connections between artists and their most dedicated fans.
Essential Experience & Requirements
* Minimum 2 years account management experience at a marketing, creative, or digital agency
* Proven track record of managing multiple client relationships and complex projects simultaneously
* Strong understanding of digital platforms and marketing strategies
* Deep passion for music and authentic fan engagement
* Experience with reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making
* Excellent communication and presentation skills

Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Timeline Oversight
* Develop and maintain comprehensive project timelines for artist campaigns
* Establish clear accountability and deliverables across team members and client/record label teams
* Monitor progress and proactively address potential delays or bottlenecks
* Ensure alignment between website, eCRM, and community initiatives with artist campaign timelines
Client Relations and Communication
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
* Maintain transparent and organised communication channels
* Facilitate regular status updates and progress reports
* Build and nurture strong relationships with label teams and artist management
Direct-to-Fan (D2F) Initiative Management
* Oversee the planning and execution of D2F campaigns
* Manage logistics and detailed implementation of fan initiatives
* Delegate tasks appropriately across team members
* Track performance metrics and optimise strategies accordingly
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work closely with CRM Leads to coordinate communication strategies
* Support Community Lead in implementing engagement initiatives
* Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms
* Facilitate collaboration between technical and creative team members
Performance Tracking and Reporting
* Set clear targets and KPIs for projects
* Monitor and report on campaign progress
* Analyse results and provide insights for optimisation
* Present performance updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Contract Type & Compensation
* Initial rolling freelance contract at £2,500 per month
* Potential to convert to permanent role based on company growth and performance
* Remote/hybrid working with Liverpool office days
