The Role: As a PSD Teacher, you will play a vital role in guiding students' personal and social development. Your responsibilities will include: Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging PSD lessons, covering topics such as emotional well-being, relationships, citizenship, and employability skills. Student Support: Foster a safe and inclusive environment where students feel encouraged to explore and discuss personal and social issues. Life Skills Development: Equip students with practical skills for managing real-life challenges, including communication, teamwork, and decision-making. Progress Monitoring: Assess and track students' development, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support students’ personal and social growth. Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. • Experience teaching Personal Social Development (PSD), PSHE, or a related subject. • A strong understanding of the challenges young people face and strategies to support their development. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A commitment to promoting students' well-being and holistic growth.
