Main Duties And Responsibilities
As part of your role at Welland, you will be fully integrated within the Engineering team, with focus and ability to:
1. Adhere to the Companies Health and Safety policy at all times and promote the development of quality standards and procedures, taking ownership of tasks and seeking new improved ways of doing things.
2. Be responsible and accountable for all aspects of machine performance and safety.
3. Plan, complete, and deliver effective maintenance on all plant and facility equipment.
4. Set and operate equipment.
5. Actively participate within the Lean Teams and other performance-focused groups as required, including completion of allocated actions.
6. Ensure availability of good quality tooling on every machine and process.
7. Ensure availability of relevant spares for every machine and process.
8. Work safely at all times.
9. Communicate effectively via Engineering logs, shift handovers, and direct interaction with the manufacturing teams.
10. Provide justification for any process improvements through the analysis of available data.
11. As part of an NCR or CAPA team, be responsible for investigations and validation works, ensuring the most effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
