The Role
Stores Controller.
Working in a small team, the Stores Controller will be a hands on role, responsible for providing a professional and efficient sample preparation and despacth for internal staff and their customers. You will require good IT and administration skills.
As a small amount of driving between two local sites is required, all applicants must have a full, valid UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the internal and external customer needs are met in a professional and efficient manner.
* Logging and preparing sample requests.
* Managing stock levels and arranging stock replenishment with the stores.
* Raising delivery notes using internal accounts system.
* Manage couriers to arrange and coordinate the delivery of samples, within the UK and internationally.
* Communicate the arrival of newly developed products to the business.
* Carry out responsibilities with due regard to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
1. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
2. Microsoft office skills, in particular Excel.
3. Literacy, numeracy and analytical skills.
4. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to ensure effective communication both internally and externally.
