Job Title: Global Immigration Manager

What you’ll be doing:
* Own and lead the global immigration strategy, ensuring governance and compliance across BAE Systems international operations.
* Design, implement, and manage a seamless global immigration programme, utilising both in-house and outsourced services to enhance employee experience and ensure company compliance in a cost-effective manner.
* Develop, maintain, and regularly review internal immigration policy and process documentation, ensuring processes are robust and aligned with current legislation.
* Lead a team of immigration and mobility specialists to oversee daily operations, addressing queries related to international assignments, local hires, country-to-country moves, business traveller activities, and other mobility actions.
* Regularly assess and mitigate immigration compliance risks and exposure across BAE Systems.
* Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline and improve immigration processes.
* Partner with internal teams (Recruitment, Onboarding, Security, etc.) to enhance service delivery, improve processes, and optimise the overall user experience.
Your skills and experiences:
* Extensive experience in global immigration and mobility management, with a deep understanding of international immigration laws and regulations.
* Proven leadership experience in managing direct reports, ensuring effective team performance and development.
* Experience in vendor management and overseeing supplier relationships.
* In-depth knowledge of personal and corporate tax, immigration, and employment law issues related to global mobility.
* Proven ability to resolve complex immigration challenges independently.
* Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in cross-functional or matrixed environments.
* Experience in a large, complex organisation, managing diverse global mobility needs.
